Coffee, Books, tumblr

Apparently today was International Coffee Day or something like that. I LOVE coffee. All types of coffee too, from dark roast, lattes and cappuccinos to frappes and cold coffees. I love this time of year becasue all of the "spiced" coffee flavors come out to play! I love pumpkin and spiced pumpkin coffee is my mainstay from mid September to late January. My current favorite coffee mug is this one <3

Crazy Cat Lady Status: Certified

The other day while I was shopping for salty snacks with my little brother I saw this book and squealed out loud! I fell head over heals in love with Harry Dresden when I saw the short lived TV series on SciFi back a few years ago. Found out it was based on these books and was hooked ever since! I even named my awesome Guinea Pig after the Professional Wizard. I have almost all of the books and the TV series on DVD. If you have no idea who Jim Butcher is or who Harry Dresden is I highly recommend you pick up one (or all) of his books.

My heart beats for Dresden.

I also expanded my social media outlets by joining tumblr. Now I have no fudging idea as to what I am doing but so far I like it! If anyone is interested on following me on tumblr feel free to do so I also have a twitter and a Pinterest account.

Hey Everyone! So as you may or may not know I am an avid animal lover but my personal faves are dogs. I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I wanted stuffed puppies before ever wanting a baby doll to play with and The Littlest Pet Shop was the shit. I was in 4-H for 5 years with dogs, even briefly trained dogs. Dog shows are my sporting events of choice. I rescued dogs for many years but purebreds will always have my heart. I started grooming dogs in 2004 when I was 18. I loved it, getting to be around dogs all day meeting new breeds and making the dogs (and owners) feel good. November Favorites 2014

It's December ya'll! That means that Yule and Christmas are just right around the corner, before you know it it will be 2015! I did film a faves video. In fact I filmed it twice but both times I forgot a few things and the quality was not very good. So...... A good old fashion blog post it is! Lets begin with the first beauty product: NYC Sky rise Lengthening Mascara. It's kind of amazing and for just a couple of dollars you can't go wrong. It has a thin traditional brush that helps gets extra close to the lash line. I used it every time I applied makeup in November because it helped me reach those tiny curled lashes I have on my left eye. Also because of my astigmatism helped to not stab myself in the eyeball. Dogs.

Hey everyone! I am a self proclaimed Dog Snob. I love dogs and the sport of showing dogs. Anything involved with dogs, I love. Now I say Snob because I prefer purebreds. Mutts are great, I have several but my heart is pedigreed. This is also why I love being a pet groomer, getting to be hands on with so many different breeds and making them look as close as I can to their breed type is a thrill for me. I have always wanted to breed/show purebred dogs. Westminster is like the Super Bowl for me, I love reading about animal genetics, and raising puppies. But getting a breeder of quality dogs to give a virtual 'noobie' like me a puppy in the my chosen breed is nearly impossible. Now my breed of choice is the Poodle. Big or small I love them all but trying to find a healthy, well bred companion Toy Poodle is nearly impossible, almost as impossible as getting one from a show breeder.
