Seven Witchy Questions Tag

Image
**all images are copyright to Random Nonsense and may not be used without permission** Tag created by EmberHoneyRaven Disaster Spell? Well so far so good on all of my spells. I've only been a practicing Witch for the past five years so I haven't done many full on spells. Mainly rituals and self work. Something you wish you knew when your were new? Intention. I didn't quite grasp the intention part of spell casting until a few years ago. Also I would to have liked to have known about 'kitchen witching' sooner. Pet peeve? It bugs me when people say "oh that's right your into the witch stuff." Um yeah it's not 'stuff' and certainly not a game. I also follow the religion of Wicca it kind of pisses me off when people suggest that 'witch stuff' is just like, a hobby. No, this is my chosen way of life and it should not be mocked or belittled. When did you know your were a witch? I knew when I was very young, maybe 8 yea

JustAWhisteringGuy (ASMR)

My YouTuber of the Month is:  JustAWhisteringGuy a.k.a Robert I really enjoy ASMR and one of my faves is Robert. I have several of his videos that I listen to on a regular basis (almost every day) and his AMSRMixology is amazing. I never knew what those 'tingles' were that I would get while hearing some sounds or watching certain things. Until about a year ago on a forum someone posted about ASMR and a link to a video. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy these kind of videos. Now they are an everyday thing for me. In fact I am listening to an ASMR video while I blog. They help me relax and focus. It can be strange sometimes but I have yet to come across a video by Robert that I did not enjoy. So give it a go and let me know if they help you. Robert has also written a book about anxiety that can be found here Ta for now, Kayla

I Love Autumn Tag

Image
So I saw that MelonLady on YouTube came up with a tag called 'I Love Autumn' I too love this time of year and thought it would be fun to answer these questions. Here we go! Favorite Drink The one thing that always gets me super excited to see this time of year is Egg Nog. Oh my, my, my do I love me a glass of Egg Nog. It's even better with a splash (or two) of Disaronno. Favorite Album I always like to break out the Wild Heart album by Stevie Nicks around this time of year. It's ethereal and enchanting. Plus whenever the summers over I always think of the line from her song Nightbird where she says"And the Summer became the Fall. I was not ready for the Winter. It makes no difference at all. 'Cause I ware boots all Summer long." That whole song just makes me feel like Autumn. Favorite Thing To Wear My Purple shawl from Cato's. I friggen love this thing. I ware it all the time when it's cold. I also like to break out my tiger b

September Favorites 2014

Image
So this is like the latest faves post ever! Sorry. It is officially October! Summer is coming to an end and I feel like everything is breathing a sigh of relief or at least I am. So the month of September was busy one for me. Between work, middle school softball and birthdays it was a runaround kind of month. Dry Shampoo So I never in my life ever though about using dry shampoo. That was until I started watching YouTube beauty videos. I bought the Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo from my local Wal-Mart for around $3. I was very impressed! I used it on day 3 hair and it adds so much body and texture. Applies well, absorbs well and has a pleasant sent. I will however not be re-purchasing this exact one but rather going to try another brand for dark hair as the white color of this spray was sometimes difficult to get to blend into my dark hair. D ark Nude Lipstick I was never one to ware 'brown' makeup or nail polish but oh how times have changed. I am

Painting With A Twist

There is a company called Painting With a Twist. You prepay for a spot and you go and paint your very own canvas painting! They have all kinds of prints to choose from, beginner classes, advanced classes and 18 and over classes where you can BYOB. My bestie and I went down on the 11th to take a class! I had so much fun, learned a bit about my self and my skills with a paint brush. Everyone painted the same thing yet everyone's looked so different. I would totally do it again. My Poodle Tattoo

Image
So as you may know I am in love with the Poodle. All things poodle I want it, need, gotta have it! They are an awesome all around breed that comes in so many different verities. Three official sizes, three unofficial sizes, Five official colors, three unofficial colors. Docked or natural. My very first pet was a black Toy Poodle named Cookie, she hated me but oh did I love her. Today I have four Poodles. Three Toy and one Standard. All are rescues but I would love to have a Parti Color Toy to show <3 Dreams! Poodles Rule So one of my favorite trims on a Poodle, especially a male Standard, is the German Trim. With it's short ears and tail it just looks rugged and with a breed like the Poodle that has the reputation of being prissy and girly it really stands out. So to immortalize my love of the breed I had a tattoo done! The original art work was done by Jess Chappell and the tattoo by Traz Hill of T.H. Ink. I absolutely adore it. <3 <3 <3 The first th
