Hey everyone! Just a good Olde Fashion Blog Post today. As I write this it is 11:02pm on December 31st 2016, New Years Eve. In some parts of the world it's already 2017, I'm excited yet terrified. I've been though a lot this year, some good, some bad, and some surprising. So I wanted to do a 16 Things I Learned in 2016 like you do on your birthday. Being a Pagan my New Year started in October but with the Gregorian calendar turning the majority of the World starts over today. So I don't have any resolutions but I do have some aspirations. Anyway.... I learned that, Fear is nothing to be afraid of. You can be fat and pretty. Leggings are indeed pants. My beauty is unique. Big girls get the charming prince too. Hey Everyone! It's Yule Vlog number Three! Not quite as boring as last time but still pretty awful. Enjoy! There are only two more days until Yule (December 21st) and I'm excited. It's the first day of Winter and we welcome back the Sun. It's cold enough this year to have a fire so I'll most likely do a little Yule log burning. Hey Everyone! So as you may or may not know I am an avid animal lover but my personal faves are dogs. I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I wanted stuffed puppies before ever wanting a baby doll to play with and The Littlest Pet Shop was the shit. I was in 4-H for 5 years with dogs, even briefly trained dogs. Dog shows are my sporting events of choice. I rescued dogs for many years but purebreds will always have my heart. I started grooming dogs in 2004 when I was 18. I loved it, getting to be around dogs all day meeting new breeds and making the dogs (and owners) feel good. In April of 2016 I was able to move my little home run shop into a rental space in the heart of downtown. I was so excited. I though this is it. I'm doing the thing I've always wanted to do. Hey everyone! So every year around the holidays I get a yearning for Freezer Cookies. Now, I have no idea where this originated from but what I do know is that they are fucking delicious. These are super easy to make and keep in the fridge or a covered tin for a couple of weeks. Or just a couple of days if your anything like me. Three ingredients, 15 minutes and BAM. Awesome Winter treats to have with your coffee or hot coco or at 7am on your way to work. You will need: Medium microwave safe bowl Large spoon Fork Cookie sheet Parchment paper Round crackers Nut better Almond bark **One package of almond bark takes two sleeves of crackers. In the pictures provided I made half a batch. ***I like to use vanilla almond bark as it's my favorite but you can use any kind. Also any kind of nut butter, I prefer chunky peanut.
