My New Alter Shelf

Image
Hey everyone! Today's blog post is about the shelves I put up to hold my alter, witch books and other Craft things. I bought this old side table thing last year to put my Alter on but I always seamed to just collect things on top of it and only used it a handful of times for its attended purpose. Before. I was watching Ember Honeyraven on Youtube talk about rearranging her Witch Room and was inspired to do so myself. Now I don't have a sole room dedicated to Witchcraft, my bedroom houses most of my Witch wares. I had a small space on my wall above my side table to put up a couple of shelves. So I went to the local lumber/hardware store and got some untreated 1x8s. Shelves up! It took just a few minutes to put both of them up. I really like how it turned out. I now have my alter up to work with on any given moment and the side table can be a side table again. Plus the inside makes for nice storage. After Ta for now, Kayla

February Favorites 2015

Hey everyone! Today's post is a video. Yay! I am really enjoying making these short videos, I hope y'all enjoy watching them. In this vlog I talk about a few things I have been loving the past month. I did however leave out one thing; The Westminster Kennel Club Dog show. It airs every year in February and it is one of my all time favorite things to watch. It's like the Super Bowl for dog fanciers. AMAZING! I hope to one day be there as a spectator and in my wildest dreams as an exhibitor. Here are the links! Six Little Randoms

Image
Hey everyone! I have been so busy with my job that I haven't had the time to blog or make a video (sorry). So I thought I would let you all know Six Little Random things about me. For no other reason then I think I'm a friggen weirdo and thought you might like to know just how strange. 1 . I love to be cold. Not in the way of "oh it's winter lets put hats and gloves and scarves on or sit in front of a roaring fire all snuggled up." No. It thrills me when I shiver or get goosebumps. So cold you can see my breath? Bring it. Air so cold it hurts to breath? Yes please. I like to be cold. 2 . I'm not a huge fan of Disney. I've been to Disney Land once and never care to go back. I'll watch a Disney movie and I do have a few faves but obsessed? Not really. Know all the songs? Maybe two. Maybe because I've never wanted to be a princess? Probably lol 3 . I have a fear of falling. Not just down a mountain or off a balcony but tripping or sli

The local middle school was having a fundraiser this past weekend. The event that they were hosting was professional wrestling! Imperial Wrestling Revolution I am always down to helping raise funds for education and if that means watching men throw each other around in tiny shorts then so be it. I took so many pictures but only with my iPhone. I did get to meet and take a picture with the 'headliners' The Boss and Cambridge. I went full Fat Amy and asked them to make a sandwich with me. They said absolutely <3 It was cheesy and loud and over the top awesome. I really enjoy myself, hoot'n and hollar'n, My 13yo niece was running around like a loon trying to get pics with all of them. I think I had more fun then the kids! I even heckled them. I was really into to it. Not a bad Saturday night if I do say. Have you ever heard of IWR? Been to a show? Let me know. Ta for now, Kayla

Jennifer Lopez: True Love

Image
Hey everyone! Today I wanted to do a quick book review. True Love by Jennifer Lopez I'm a fan of JLo. From her movies, to her music, to her fashion, and fragrances. She's gorgeous, she dances and is inspiring. This book is a memoir of sort about her finding herself. She states in the very first few pages that it is not a tell all, it's not meant to be. It's about her life and the choices she's made to bring her to the woman she is today. Now. I watched her HBO special about her first world tour (it was amazing y'all should watch it) and the next day saw this book at my local library. It was almost like fate. It's a rather quick read but it has some inspiring quotes and beautiful photos. As I was reading it I could hear Jennifer in my head, like she was right there telling me this story on how she found true love; not to boast but because she knew it could help me find my true love. "When you give your time, your love, your respect, you
