Chickens!

I finally got a pair of chickens! I have been thinking and talking about getting some for a while now but was unsure of how our outside cats would react to them. So a friend of mine who has gorgeous chickens offered me two of her young roosters. She did not need to keep these two so she gave them to me to do a trial run of sorts to make sure the cats did not have chicken for dinner. So far so good on their first day.

This big guy here figured out how to get of the little back yard, lets just hope he remembers how to get back in. I believe he is a Polish.



This guy here is a little more laid back and I believe he is a Frizzled Polish.



I also found this spider in the backyard! Pretty and the size of my giant hand.

Hey Everyone! So as you may or may not know I am an avid animal lover but my personal faves are dogs. I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I wanted stuffed puppies before ever wanting a baby doll to play with and The Littlest Pet Shop was the shit. I was in 4-H for 5 years with dogs, even briefly trained dogs. Dog shows are my sporting events of choice. I rescued dogs for many years but purebreds will always have my heart. I started grooming dogs in 2004 when I was 18. I loved it, getting to be around dogs all day meeting new breeds and making the dogs (and owners) feel good. November Favorites 2014

It's December ya'll! That means that Yule and Christmas are just right around the corner, before you know it it will be 2015! I did film a faves video. In fact I filmed it twice but both times I forgot a few things and the quality was not very good. So...... A good old fashion blog post it is! Lets begin with the first beauty product: NYC Sky rise Lengthening Mascara. It's kind of amazing and for just a couple of dollars you can't go wrong. It has a thin traditional brush that helps gets extra close to the lash line. I used it every time I applied makeup in November because it helped me reach those tiny curled lashes I have on my left eye. Also because of my astigmatism helped to not stab myself in the eyeball.
