Six Little Randoms

Hey everyone!


I have been so busy with my job that I haven't had the time to blog or make a video (sorry). So I thought I would let you all know Six Little Random things about me. For no other reason then I think I'm a friggen weirdo and thought you might like to know just how strange.


1. I love to be cold. Not in the way of "oh it's winter lets put hats and gloves and scarves on or sit in front of a roaring fire all snuggled up." No. It thrills me when I shiver or get goosebumps. So cold you can see my breath? Bring it. Air so cold it hurts to breath? Yes please. I like to be cold.

2. I'm not a huge fan of Disney. I've been to Disney Land once and never care to go back. I'll watch a Disney movie and I do have a few faves but obsessed? Not really. Know all the songs? Maybe two. Maybe because I've never wanted to be a princess? Probably lol

3. I have a fear of falling. Not just down a mountain or off a balcony but tripping or slipping. Especially after it rains or if the floor is wet. Salt on hardwood? No thank you. Freshly waxed/varnished/sealed? Nope. Even lumpy rugs or runners make me stutter step.

4. I lucid dream. When I was younger I would have really bad nightmares but when I was 16 I figured out I could lucid dream and have not had a nightmare since. I also have reoccurring yet different dreams, Same people, different scenarios. I also remember all of my dreams. Causes a lot of deja vu. 

5. I am creeped out by clusters of things, like honey combs, wasps nest, those pod things that come in flower arrangements *shudders* No thank you! Surinam toads are the worst! Google it. Ew.

6. I do not like my food to touch on my plate. Unless it stuff that's suppose to like mashed potatoes and gravy or salad. But both of those things on one plate? Nope, put that salad in a bowl! Divided plates are my favorite. <3

So yeah. That's just a small chunk of the strange iceberg that is me.

Hey Everyone! So as you may or may not know I am an avid animal lover but my personal faves are dogs. I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I wanted stuffed puppies before ever wanting a baby doll to play with and The Littlest Pet Shop was the shit. I was in 4-H for 5 years with dogs, even briefly trained dogs. Dog shows are my sporting events of choice. I rescued dogs for many years but purebreds will always have my heart. I started grooming dogs in 2004 when I was 18. November Favorites 2014

It's December ya'll! That means that Yule and Christmas are just right around the corner, before you know it it will be 2015! I did film a faves video. In fact I filmed it twice but both times I forgot a few things and the quality was not very good. So...... A good old fashion blog post it is! Lets begin with the first beauty product: NYC Sky rise Lengthening Mascara. It's kind of amazing and for just a couple of dollars you can't go wrong. It has a thin traditional brush that helps gets extra close to the lash line. I used it every time I applied makeup in November because it helped me reach those tiny curled lashes I have on my left eye. Also because of my astigmatism helped to not stab myself in the eyeball. The second beauty fave is: Not Your Mothers: Way to Grow Long and Strong I was needing a new shampoo and preferred one that was sulfate free and I found this at my local Wal-Mart. Dogs.

Hey everyone! I am a self proclaimed Dog Snob. I love dogs and the sport of showing dogs. Anything involved with dogs, I love. Now I say Snob because I prefer purebreds. Mutts are great, I have several but my heart is pedigreed. This is also why I love being a pet groomer, getting to be hands on with so many different breeds and making them look as close as I can to their breed type is a thrill for me. I have always wanted to breed/show purebred dogs. Westminster is like the Super Bowl for me, I love reading about animal genetics, and raising puppies. But getting a breeder of quality dogs to give a virtual 'noobie' like me a puppy in the my chosen breed is nearly impossible. Now my breed of choice is the Poodle. Big or small I love them all but trying to find a healthy, well bred companion Toy Poodle is nearly impossible, almost as impossible as getting one from a show breeder.
