Disaster Spell?
Well so far so good on all of my spells. I've only been a practicing Witch for the past five years so I haven't done many full on spells. Mainly rituals and self work.
Something you wish you knew when your were new?
Intention. I didn't quite grasp the intention part of spell casting until a few years ago. Also I would to have liked to have known about 'kitchen witching' sooner.
Pet peeve?
It bugs me when people say "oh that's right your into the witch stuff." Um yeah it's not 'stuff' and certainly not a game. I also follow the religion of Wicca it kind of pisses me off when people suggest that 'witch stuff' is just like, a hobby. No, this is my chosen way of life and it should not be mocked or belittled.
When did you know your were a witch?
I knew when I was very young, maybe 8 years old. But I didn't really come into it until I was around 14. I have always been intrigued with the preternatural and supernatural and knowing that there was something greater then myself out there.
Best witch book, fiction and non?
For fiction it's hard to pick just one but I would have to say The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher. The main guy is a 'wizard' but it really shows how powerful the craft can be, plus is mighty entertaining. As for non-fiction I would have to go with The Magical Household by Scott Cunningham. I use this book almost daily.
Witch TV show and movie?
I have watched all of them, from Sabrina to Charmed to Salem and honestly I really like them all. My current fave is The Witches of East End on lifetime. It's really fun and fresh. For movies now that a hard one. I love the classics like Hocus Pocus and Practical Magic but my one of my faves is Teen Witch.
Have you ever doubted your craft/path?
Honestly, no. I have questions about different aspects of my path but I have never doubted that it was the right thing for me. I have doubted my ability but who hasn't?
Blessed Samhain, <|:-D
