I Love Autumn Tag

So I saw that MelonLady on YouTube came up with a tag called 'I Love Autumn' I too love this time of year and thought it would be fun to answer these questions.

Here we go!

Favorite Drink

The one thing that always gets me super excited to see this time of year is Egg Nog. Oh my, my, my do I love me a glass of Egg Nog. It's even better with a splash (or two) of Disaronno.

Favorite Album

I always like to break out the Wild Heart album by Stevie Nicks around this time of year. It's ethereal and enchanting. Plus whenever the summers over I always think of the line from her song Nightbird where she says"And the Summer became the Fall. I was not ready for the Winter. It makes no difference at all. 'Cause I ware boots all Summer long." That whole song just makes me feel like Autumn.


Favorite Thing To Wear







My Purple shawl from Cato's. I friggen love this thing. I ware it all the time when it's cold. I also like to break out my tiger blanket. I have had this blanket since I was nine years old. It's soft and just heavy enough that it lays just right.










Favorite Leaf

We have a few hardwoods down here where I live and they are all beautiful when they start to change. But I would say I love the deep red colored ones.

Favorite Pumpkin Face

I never really enjoyed pumpkin carving. I always thought it was kind of a waste of pumpkin but I guess when look at them I think the more creative ones are amazing to look at and also the classic triangle faces.

Favorite Movie

Picking a favourite movie is a really hard thing for me. I guess it would have to be Hocus Pocus but I watch that movie once or twice a month anyway. I also like that they have creepy, ghostly movies that come out around this time of year. The one I want to see this year is Ouija.


Thing To Do

I like to be outside in the Autumn. I love the smell of the crisp air and the cool winds. The sound of the leaves falling and seeing all of the Deer. Build a fire if it's cold enough and drink cider.

Comfort Food

Soups and chili's. I love a good bowl of soup or spicy chili. Especially if they are home made. Also Hot coco with marshmallows. This could technically be a drink but I make mine to sweet and frothy it's almost a food.

Candle To Burn






I enjoy candles all year long but in the Autumn I like the more cinnamon, spice and pumpkin scented ones. I bought this one the other day from the dollar store that smells like warm Angel Food Cake. I really like it plus this crock will be up-cycled into a makeup brush holder once all the wax is gone.









Lip Color

I love a bold lip any time of the year but in the Autumn all of the makeup company's come out with new plums and reds. I love a good plum/purple lip. Or even a black/blood red in the Autumn. Makes everything feel more warm and sultry.

November Favorites 2014

It's December ya'll! That means that Yule and Christmas are just right around the corner, before you know it it will be 2015! I did film a faves video. In fact I filmed it twice but both times I forgot a few things and the quality was not very good. So...... A good old fashion blog post it is! Lets begin with the first beauty product: NYC Sky rise Lengthening Mascara. It's kind of amazing and for just a couple of dollars you can't go wrong. It has a thin traditional brush that helps gets extra close to the lash line. I used it every time I applied makeup in November because it helped me reach those tiny curled lashes I have on my left eye. Also because of my astigmatism helped to not stab myself in the eyeball. Dogs.

Hey everyone! I am a self proclaimed Dog Snob. I love dogs and the sport of showing dogs. Anything involved with dogs, I love. Now I say Snob because I prefer purebreds. Mutts are great, I have several but my heart is pedigreed. This is also why I love being a pet groomer, getting to be hands on with so many different breeds and making them look as close as I can to their breed type is a thrill for me. I have always wanted to breed/show purebred dogs. Westminster is like the Super Bowl for me, I love reading about animal genetics, and raising puppies. But getting a breeder of quality dogs to give a virtual 'noobie' like me a puppy in the my chosen breed is nearly impossible. Now my breed of choice is the Poodle. Big or small I love them all but trying to find a healthy, well bred companion Toy Poodle is nearly impossible, almost as impossible as getting one from a show breeder.
