September Favorites 2014

So this is like the latest faves post ever! Sorry.

It is officially October! Summer is coming to an end and I feel like everything is breathing a sigh of relief or at least I am.

So the month of September was busy one for me. Between work, middle school softball and birthdays it was a runaround kind of month.

Dry Shampoo
So I never in my life ever though about using dry shampoo. That was until I started watching YouTube beauty videos. I bought the Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo from my local Wal-Mart for around $3. I was very impressed! I used it on day 3 hair and it adds so much body and texture. Applies well, absorbs well and has a pleasant sent. I will however not be re-purchasing this exact one but rather going to try another brand for dark hair as the white color of this spray was sometimes difficult to get to blend into my dark hair.

Dark Nude Lipstick
I was never one to ware 'brown' makeup or nail polish but oh how times have changed. I am loving the wet n wild Fergie Center Stage Collection in A034 Bebot Love  I am waring it in the picture below.

Tidy Cats Dual Power Cat Litter
So I have a Persian that I got as an adult cat who had very bad litter manners. It has taken me FOREVER to find a litter that he will consistently use and I *touch wood* think I have finally found the one. Tidy Cats Dual Power blend. It's a pretty good litter, clumps well and keeps the smell to a minimum. They need to forever make this blend because Crowley said so.

Movie Recommendation of the month: As Above So Below. I have just started to branch out to watching 'scary' movies and this one was really good! I had a few issues with the plot line in the end but over all I would watch it again.

TV Series Recommendation of the month: The Mysteries of Laura on NBC. Oh my goodness! I am really enjoying this show. It's funny, witty and with Debra Messing as the lead female and Josh Lucas as the lead male is just sweet TV goodness.

Book Recommendation of the month: I just read a bunch of BBW/BDSM short stories last month. Oh yeah.

I would also like to mention Gipsy Dharma. They make some incredible boots and skirts that I have been drooling over. I don't own a pair but would love to one day. They seam like the perfect Autumn (or as Stevie Nicks would say "I ware my boots all summer long') boot that would go with anything and everything. You can find them here www.gipsydharma.com

Ta for now,
Kayla
