Dear Fat People?
Hey everyone!
So there is a mild shit storm going around the interwebs about a female YouTuber who made a video called 'Dear Fat People' where she openly hated on people who are larger then the societal norm.
She claims to be a comedian. If you want to make videos hating on people then just fucking do it. Don't hide behind the guise of concern. Grow some balls, be a bitch and get on with your 'comedy'. You want to be offensive? Then be offensive. You want to make satire videos? Then just do it. Don't say the mean things and then come out with a "Because I Care". Just admit you don't care and make the joke. Admitting to not caring is better then pretending to care.
To be completely honest, this little shit show has proved a point. We, as a society, are starting to get it. There is a tiny glimmer of hope for the future that when asshole opinions like this 'Dear Fat People' come around there are so many more people backing those being hated on then the one doing the hating.
It's 2015 and no longer 'cool' to make fat jokes. This YouTuber just learned that the hard way.
Be nice to people because nice matters!
Ta for now,
Kayla

As a fat person I did take slight offence but not because she was making fat jokes. I was offend because she hid them behind a thin veil of 'concern'.
