Easy Slow Cooker Chili
Hey everyone!
So today I have another tried and true recipe for you: Easy Slow Cooker Chili.
When I say easy I mean it's really easy, prep is maybe 5 minutes and total cook time is up to you. 6 hours on Low or 4 hours on High.
Ingredients List
This time I used seasoned Pinto beans, diced tomatoes with onion and beef stew meat. You can sub any canned beans, tomatoes and meat that you like. You could even make it meatless by adding in two more cans of beans.
Starting with a clean, large, slow cooker add in the raw meat, all of the can contents and the packet of seasoning. Stir to combine, pop on the lid, plug in your slow cooker, set it on your desired cook setting and away you go. Do not stir once lid is on.
Again if you cook it on the high setting it will be ready in four (4) hours. If cooked on the low setting it will be done in six (6) hours.
Stir before serving.
I like my chili with cheese, corn chips and sour cream. You can dish yours up however you like.
Enjoy!
Let me know if you make this and what kind of beans/meat you used. Also how do you top your chili?
Ta for now,
Kayla

ReplyDeleteWhat was the recipe your Mom use to make that had the corn tortillas and whatever in the crock pot?
The enchiladas? I believe she just layered corn tortillas, Hormel Chili cheese and red enchilada sauce. I'll ask her though to make sure.
